Snatch trailer analysis

Non digetic music running all the way through the trailer but there are two different songs:
- first song: fast paced, to show the fast pace of the film and its best action shots.
- Second song: changes to a western like song, and this is when the characters begin to get introduced. The audience predicts they are rivals.

There are many characters introduced within the trailer, and majority are dressed in suits this illustrates their high status roles within the film.

The generic conventions you see in snatch are; guns, diamonds, betting cards, fighting, suits and ties.

This trailer shots are all connected and flow well, there is a diverse range of camera movements the most successful would be when the camera zooms in very fast, which links to the fast pace of the trailer and the film.

Majority of lighting is high key top lighting to highlight the importance of the protagonists

This is a British gangster film therefore it has a lot of action with lots of different gangs whereas American films are more about the story on one gang and there success to power.
